Mr. Best,
Thank you for responding and I'm both honoured and surprised that of the many letters you have received, you hold my email in such high regard (it took me a few days for that to sink in!). To be able to reach out to someone responsible for some wonderful childhood memories is one thing, to connect and receive gratitude from them is another. It means a lot, and is much appreciated.
I will certainly purchase your autobiography in the near future as I am sure I will enjoy reading about the ups and downs of your remarkable career. I'm elated that you have decided to write your autobiography for all us loyal fans.
I must point out that I did make one small error in my last letter. I mentioned "Swamp Molly" as one of the episodes in which the depth of Rosco shone through. The episode I meant to refer to was "Granny Annie". The scene, in particular, was when you emotionally convinced Bo and Luke to save Boss. It was a wonderfully acted scene in humanizing Rosco and taking him beyond a caricature. What can I say, a great acting job by a great actor :)
Warmest regards,
Reza

Dear Mr. Best,
As a fan of classic television, I have been lucky enough see you in
many different roles on many different programs. What with
typecasting being such a problem for many actors, I am impressed
with the range of roles you have portrayed over the years. Most
recently I saw you in "The Fugitive" in " Terror At High Point". You
certainly held your own, playing opposite Jack Klugman and David
Janssen, Actors of their caliber would intimidate most , but not you.
You went toe to with them and never batted an eye. I hope you still
break out your guitar, you can really rock out.
Anyway continued good fortune to you and I'll see you on the T.V.

For making my Friday nights memorable.. As a kid, I thought that The Dukes of Hazzrd was everything.. My cousin who was a blonde and myself, a brunnete, jumped onto my grandmother's love seat and took the roads of Hazzard every chance we got together. I always imagined being from Hazzard County.. So much at 9-12 years old, I would actually tell people, that I was on probation..Just like Luke Duke.. Fridays meant more to me than anything else in this world. Later as I grew older, I started watching for nostalgic reasons. Then started watching it more, Because I feel in love with the comedy of Boss and Roscoe.. Forget the General.. Boss and Roscoe made the show.. The comedy team of you and Sorrell was underated. It made the show.. I have every season on DVD.. Thank God for Dvd's I can watch and relive Good ol' TV again.. TV today, has fallen way short..You were blessed with being on my 2 all time favorite shows,The Dukes and The Andy Griffith Show. Both you and Denver... It is not so bad leaving Mayberry for Hazzard.. The 2 Places anyone would love to live. I just wonder though, what would it have been like, If Rroscoe had Barney Fife as a Deputy? WoW!
Have a Great one,
A Fan

Dear James Best,
first of: I apologize for any spelling or other mistakes...English is not my native language....
When I flew to Atlanta last year, I was hoping to have a wonderful time at Dukesfest, go to Covington to take a picture of the court house and to finally see a real Dodge Charger General Lee.......( Can you tell that I'm one of all those Dukes fans???)
I got all that plus a few autographs, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet you.
And now - thanks to the internet - I can just send you a message..... I'm quite new to facebook but I like it better every day, lol.
I got both your DVDs "Hazardous Roadtrip" and "Rosco's Rarities" and I wanted to tell you that I really love them. Last November our German Dukes fanclub had a small meeting and we watched the DVD together. We all had a great time, especially when you started the re-election campagne and caught a "Duke boy". That was hilarious.
Most of the Dukes fans in Germany, or at least the ones on the German Dukes board, saw the show in the mid 90s when it ran for the second time in Germany. I didn't even know it was on, can you believe that?? The show first aired here in 1989 and I loved it - it was the only show that had a different storyline that all those city private investigator shows that were on TV at that time. And it was set in the country, it was fun......a lot of things reminded me of the way I grew up. Except that there wasn't a car around that could fly, LOL
Since a few years I have all the seasons on DVD and to this day the best way for me to relax after a long day at work - is watching one or more Dukes of Hazzard episodes.........
Oh, and a small piece of information that hopefully will make you smile: according to the poll on the German board the favorite character on the show is.......Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane!!!
Your facebook friend from Germany

Hey to Jimmie "ROSCO" Best!!!!!
I just received my 8 x 10 autographed color picture of you with "Flash". It's now on my DUKES WALL
along with Boss Hogg, Uncle Jesse, "Sweet" Daisy and a picture of the whole gang. I still need to round up
a few more individual pictures.
As John "Bo" Schneider said, "there are NO casual Dukes fans....and I agree. We fans go "Hogg" wild
if you'll excuse the pun.
Seriously. We fans know that you don't know us from Adam. You live your lives as who you really are
(James Best, or whomever) most of the time....until a DUKES FEST or something comes along. But to us
folks watching reruns or those folks (like me) lucky enough to own all 7 seasons on DVD, you all are
really family. I've been hooked for 30 years and counting.
My 18 year old son, who is a high-functioning Autistic (I am a high-functioning Autistic as well) love
Rosco's antics and the laugh.
An hour or two with you folks from Hazzard County really does ease the stress and worries of everyday life.
It sort of takes us away for a while. I know that I really need that. And with 7 seasons worth of episodes,
when I finish the last episode of season 7, I can go back to the first episode of season one and it's all
fresh once again.
I guess that's the price you pay for being one of the two most beloved sheriffs in T.V. Land, the other
being our everlovin' sheriff Andy Taylor. Speaking of which, I enjoyed your performance as Jim Lindsey
on that show as well. You kind of reminded me of an early ELVIS.
I've followed you every step of the way since Ma & Pa Kettle. I just recorded a Bonanza episode about a greedy cattle baron who tried to corner the market on Salt. You played sheriff Vern Schaler. Kim Hunter
was also in it. I hated to see you die at the end.
Well, I'll close now before I get too long-winded. I sure would like to hear back from you.
Until the, keep your fishing line wet and your powder dry.
God bless;
Steve Freed

Mr. James Best - ROSCO P. COLTRANE
The "Ghost of the General Lee" is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I have it displayed on the wall just outside of my home office, where I can be sure to view it often and to be provided with reminisces of my childhood. The art work is just beautiful!!!!!
As you probably already heard I was and am a HUGE fan of The Dukes of Hazzard. Could not wait to visit Hazzard when I was a kid. I was unhappy to find out that it did not really exist. I still love watchin' the show and can only imagine what a thrill it must have been to make it.
My childhood friend - Rosco -
This painting means more than you will ever know, just to own it and see it....there is something very very special about it....the beauty, the peace, the way it makes you feel when you stare into it....to view it and wonder what you were feeling when you painted it....And to feel the same tranquility that it gives back....I Love it and there ain't enough money no where to buy it....
I want to wish you both great happiness and good health and thank you again for your work and inspiration. Maybe someday I will meet you, but if I get that lucky, I hope you have a handkerchief, I know I would need it.
Thanks so much!!

Dear Jimmie and Dorothy,
My family has a strange similarity to Dukes. Bet you hear that alot. My father owns/runs a junkyard. The local mayor has tried to get into his operation or take our land for 25 years. Westside Salvage and Recycling is outside the city limits and borders the industrial park. We'll not buying city license has went to court several times over the years.Overturned in appeals court everytime. In fact the only years the town has not went after my dad is the 4 years we had a different mayor. Well the old was elected back in and it keeps up. He was even sued for lost revenue and found he bought a junk car in town several years ago.He owed city tax on it ( sales tax)and penalties. Came to a whopping $337 dollars and change for a twenty dollar car. Bet they spent more on suing us than they made. Anyway its been like this with cops stopping us for different reasons and finding nothing wrong. As a teenager I owned a 79 Firebird. Faded red paint made it look like early versions of the General Lee. My next door neighbor is a city cop and informs us of many things. Guess small towns all over the country operate on a buddy system. Well , anyway. I guess by now you think we are all crazy. Here are a couple more pics. Enjoy a good laugh at the story and the pics.
If you ever want to film in a junkyard, your welcome here.

Mr. and Mrs. Best,
First Happy Thanksgiving. I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits.
Dukesfest 2007 we won at auction an original drawing done by James. Lots of people would have resold this treasure. I wanted you to know it was on display in our home. This gives us lots of joy and brings a bit of reality to the actors in the series.A great conversation starter too.
Dukes of Hazzard has played big parts in my life. But I'm sure you hear that alot. It helped get me thru my parents divorce and is the cornerstone of my relationship with my oldest grandson. I'm 33 he's 7. He even named our German policeRosco. If you ever have time and want to know the whole story on all this write back.(if you have time)
Like I said earlier just wanted you to know your talent was well appreciated in our home. We could never afford any of your paintings with the economy as it is.That makes the drawing even more special.
Thanks
Jason and Bobbie Jo Cox

A couple of letters from the new owner of Jimmie's Patrol Car:
Jimmie and Dorothy,
We have a new addition to the Rucker family. Born December 6th at 4:52 am, Luke Noah weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long. Angie and the baby are doing great and are now home from the hospital. The other children love him so much and give him a lot of attention. It looks like he is going to be another Dukes fan. Merry Christmas,
Andy and Family

Hi Jmmie and Dorothy,
We went to the 37th Annual Barry Apple Festival Car Show in Barry, Illinois this weekend and the patrol car received two 1st place awards. The people were so grateful that they had the opportunity to see such a great car. We even had a Director of Alumni Services from a local college stop us during the parade to see if we would bring the car to their homecoming parade in two weeks. The children love parades so much that we take the car to as many as we can. This car is sure giving us a lot of unforgetable memories. Andy

Hello Mr. Best…
I just wanted to say Hello and include a picture of yourself and me from back in 1979 at an auto show in Moncton, New Brunswick Canada. I was the ripe age of 6 years old at the time. I’ve treasured this picture my entire life and it has survived many moves over the years…from both coasts of Canada and as well to several cities in the U.S.. It is always a focal point in my home and draws attention every time a new friend or visitor enters our home. And now my two young sons watch the show and are amazed that their Dad got to meet the Sheriff! I still have the day we met burned in my head and I remember the people working the car show were amazed that you allowed me to wear your hat. Thanks again for making my day.
My best to you and yours.
Always a fan,
chris

James,
Hello. I am a fan of yours and figured it was about time I let you know.
I’m 37 years old so obviously I remember you as the sheriff Rosco from Dukes of Hazzard. No kid at that time would be caught dead missing an episode of the Dukes, and I know you’ve worked hard on many movies both in front of and behind the camera rubbing shoulders with the Hollywood elite. I have to tell you though. My favorite work by you is an oldie and one based on your past statements was a very slight project. The Killer Shrews.
Wow what a great, fun, flick. I’d rather watch that cheap B-movie any multi-million dollar crapfest that comes out of Hollywood these days. The movie offers what many movies cannot even with inflated budgets. Entertainment. My girlfriend and I have watched that film at least a half dozen times and I’m sure we’ll watch it again. Maybe you did the movie as a favor. Maybe you weren’t taking the flick seriously, but I tell you now. That movie has a lot of soul and is worth 100x what it cost to produce. Pretty good for a “slight” film.
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much you are appreciated.
Take care,
Your fan,
Christian
Hello James:
I am sorry for treating you like family here, you know...but the truth in black and white keeps telling me that you are like family to me...I grew up watching the Dukes boys...and you were in it and that was lots of fun for sure...people and TV shows that will never be forgotten...people that worked hard to bring out the best of the best and they did. I always wanted to treasue a piece of the mythical Hazzard County...and I guess I am achieving my goal by emailing you right now. I am not a boy anymore, but there are things in this life that become timeless and unforgotten.
I always remember Denver Pyle and Sorrell Booke and I wish I had had a computer back then to tell them how greatful I am. James, I just wanted to say Thank You for the very first time ever and I know I am not the only one saying this...but you know...I just had to say it...Thank You for all of the joyful moments you brought into my life when I was a kid. God bless You.
Best Wishes;
Bill R. MacKenzie

Hello Sheriff Rosco P Coltrane
Hello Jimmy
Nice too meet you.
I'm a fan of Dukkes Of Hazzard and Sheriff Rosco. I bought all season of this tv series and i'm watching all episodes. I have the impression that you are in my home. All actors which make Dukkes hazzard belong to be my friends, my family.
James best, you are my favorites actors in Dukkes of Hazzard as Rosco. So funny with Flash, Enos and Boss and all stunts with General lee and Patrol police car (which finish bad, broken hihi!!!!).
My favorite expression of rosco is in french "Il est content rosco" in english "He is happy, rosco"
James, i'm so happy to write you.
For me, my job is to help disabled persons and old persons on their life (cook, washing them, night surveillance, dress them, ...) It is for me a vocation.
I'm playing on a troops of theatre like a comic actor (i play Feydeau, Sacha Guitry, Molière and composed piece of théâtre). I'm 33 years old. I live in Quetigny near Dijon in france (and his famousmustard, kir, blackcurrant and burgundy wine). I love horses.
If you all other actors of dukes of hazzard(Tom Wopat, John Schneider, Catherine Bach, Ben Jones, Sonny Shroyer,.....) say them for me hello.
I remind for Denver Pyle and Sorell Booke who are died.
Good bye
Best regards (and excuse for my english koudioudiou!!!)

Dear Jimmie,
My name is Werner, 36, from Belgium. I like Dukes of Hazzard so much, I cannot begin to describe it. Rosco and Boss Hogg are my favorite characters, it's so funny and memorable, the way you and Sorrell interacted.
The show brings a true message of family values in a fun & action-packed way, amazing. It is one of my favorite childhood memories, which I will never forget. I watched the reruns here on Belgian tv a few years ago, and today I watch it every day on DVD. It has really become part of my life.
DukesFest 2006 was one of my best holidays ever, I met you and the other castmembers briefly, and will surely go to another DukesFest in 2009 or 2010, if possible. In the meantime, I have just bought your new DVD "James Best Hazardous Roadtrip", I can hardly wait to see it!!
I am now building a Hazzard patrol car of my own, based on a 1977 Dodge Monaco. It's a 225 six-cylinder, not as fast as a V8, but with todays gas prices a good choice ;-)
Here is a link to the Dukes website I made:
http://users.pandora.be/roadmaster/dukesofhazzard.htm

I would be honored if you could link to it on your website.
If you want to use any pictures, please feel free to do so.
It also has pictures of the Georgia filming location I took in 2006, and of 2006 DukesFest. And if you click on the black moonshine car (Jesse's Black Tillie) there is a page on the Cars of Hazzard County. Also with pictures of my patrol car under construction.
When my patrol car is finished, I will send you some pictures if you want to add them to your website.
Kind regards from Belgium
Werner Naessens
G'day there, Mr., Best,
My name is Keith Young, I'm also a Southern Boy, Melbourne Victoria sort of south, way on down here in Australia kind of south.
I'm writing to say, you have to be one of the best actors I ever saw. Why, because I'm fifty and until two weeks ago I only ever heard of "The Dukes of Hazzard", I never saw that series before, and most telly (short for TV) shows have de-sensitised me, to the degree where I can see right through an actor trying to be funny, or trying to tug at the heart strings just a little too hard, well, when I watched the Ghost of the General Lee, and you had to inform Uncle Jesse of his poor nephews' demise, I bawled like a baby, my chin was wobbling tears streaming down my face, I had to act like I was sneezing, it's just lucky my good lady wife was crying too or she would've ridiculed me.You're good, Y'hear..,real good. What was crazy 'bout the whole thing was, we knew those boys (even in the show) were still alive, we knew you were all just acting, but the calibre of your performance was really and profoundly moving.
I have to say, I am sorry I never saw your show ( that your is plural) as it was televised.Recently Marg, (my wife) and I went to see the movie, I killed myself laughing at that show, but Margie (enjoyed the show as she did) said the movie had nothing on the Telly series, that the movie Duke Boys were just dumb hicks compared to Tom Wopat and John Schnieder(hope I spelled his name right) and the Boss and the Sherriff weren't a patch on you guys either.
So, I went and purchased all the first four seasons on Dvd as soon as I saw them, because my girl is smart and knows what she's talking about, and I was not dissappointed, not at all. Mr.,James Best, you are the best, I can't think of any other way to say it. You have me belly laughing, I haven't relaxed enough to do that for years, Thank You and the rest of your friends in that series, I am having fun at 50 I feel like I'm 8,and so far I've only seen three episodes into the second season.
I love every regular actor on the show, but far and away my favourite character is Sherrif Roscoe P., Coltrane.
My Very Best Regards
Keith and I know my Wife Marg (hates being called Margaret) would send her Love to you aswell. Top Show, Top Actors, just "Grouse"( pronounced as in (h)-ouse).
P.S., We loved the 20th bbq, seeing all of you as you are, youse haven't changed a bit, you all look great, we loved seeing Lulu and Daisy You and Cooter.Today I've been playing with your soundboard, yuk yuk oh its good..,it's good!
Dear Mr. Best,
I am sure you get lots of fan mail and I am not too good at writing fan letters. In fact this is the first one I have ever written. I am 34 years old and grew up watching you as Rosco. I have the utmost respect for you and the fine work you have done and I could not resist sending you this note to tell you how much your work on the Dukes has meant to me over the years. I still remember the day the last episode aired. I was heartbroke. I even went and threw my own memorial service afterwards. I know that may sound silly, but I didnt know how else to handle not being able to spend that time with the Dukes every Friday night. There was and still is a great since of joy and freedom one feels when watching that show. It's like a fun spring or summer day that is filled with great abandone and adventure.
I do wish to say that, no matter how humble my opinion my be, I feel that the work you and Sorrel did together as Boss and Rosco was shear magic. I know that everyone believes the General was the star of the show, but you two made the show. You guys had a great chemistry that I have seen no others come near. Many times I will stop my DVD's and rewatch your scenes together because they are sooo priceless. I love it when Rosco has Boss read him Jack and the Beanstalk and Rosco tells him not to say Fee Fi Fo Fum so loud cause its scary. Funny. When anyone asks me who my favorite actors are, I tell them James Best and Sorrel Booke with out a doubt.
I came to Dukes Fest in 05 but was unable to meet you. I left having had a GREAT time but was also disappointed having not gotten to shake your hand. I am hoping to meet you this May in Marion at the Miner's Ballgame, Lord willing.
Well, I will let you go. I just wanted to thank you for all the laughs over the years and for all the hours of good clean fun. In this world of trashy, sex filled TV, its nice to have a show with actors who can act and entertain without resorting to smut.
Ever so sincerely,
your loyal fan, Ron Schultz
P.S. My loveable lab Rosco says hello.
Jimmie -
I guess maybe I never told you this before but I have always thought it. You have often talked about your friendship with James Stewart and how much it meant to you. You are MY James Stewart; a conscience, guide, and, above all, a standard to try and live up to. And I emphasize "try."
If my career ends tomorrow - and the way Hollywood is, it might (something else you've taught me), I have been blessed to be able to work with and call a friend someone who has been a hero of mine since I was a 6 year old kid watching SHENANDOAH with my Dad.
You always told me you will know your true friends in Hollywood; they stab you in the front.
What I have learned from you is that your true friends in LIFE are always there. I have always been your friend but you and Teenser have, time and time again, made me and mine a part of your family.
And that is a blessing I am, daily, humbled by. I treasure every moment we've been able to spend and work together. My Aunt has recently moved to your area and I look forward to visiting and seeing you both again very soon.
And working together again... I am not yet done basking in the light of your incredible talent.
Best,
Steve
Good Morning Dear Mr. Best,
first, please forgive me all my mistakes in your language, Its so rare that i write letters in english. I don't knew the Dukes before few month ago. But my husband came and said, that this is a really nice thing and that we have to see it. And hey, here is your new fan. I Like your Character most of all . You are so crazy and funny as Rosco, unbelieveble:-) We see it not with the original sound, we see it in german translation. They translate you the following way: All the times you hope you could send the duke boys to prison, you are very amused and you say in german: "Köstlich, Köstlich" That means ,if you eat, for example, something tasty, you say delicious, or tasty. Something like that. And after you say that you laugh in a very specal way, it remains on a little boy . I like this so much, if you do this. Rosco is for me the reason to look Dukes of Hazzard.
In Hamburg we have a grey and rainy mornig, it sit here with the direct view on the port of Hamburg, really nice. Rain is here in autuum in normal thing. Later i go out to meet my grandma, she 84. I go to help her to clean her flat, and to drink a coffee and talk for a while. I do this every week, I love her so much, she something like a mom for me.
I hope, you feel also good, everything is fine with your health and you have a big family who cares about you.
If you write me a little email back, im the happiest girl in Hamburg:-)
And if you dont have the time to do it:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR FANTASTIC LIFEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a great actor and comedian!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!
With best wishes, A big hug,
your Anna K. Wiggers and also Sönke Juda, my husband
Dear Mr.Best,
Just wanted to write and say that as a fan from the beginning you and all your castmates got me through some rough times. Here is a little about me and the rough times: http://tchin.org/portraits/michael-8.htm
One specific incident I wanted to mention was that during my correction surgery, the one that went very bad, the Dukes helped me recover faster then expected. The surgery was on a thursday and I was determined not to miss my favorite show, the Dukes of Hazzard. After things went bad showtime approached. I was supposed to be under heavy sedation but I woke up in time to see my show, to the amazment of my ICU nurse. After it was over I nodded to my mother, who just argued with the nurse that her son was waiting for the TV to be turned on for the Dukes and yes he is awake. I recently found out it was Double Dukes.
After recovery I gave my surgeon my model I had of the General Lee that I had taken with me. That was almost 26 years ago and some of the memories of that and watching the Dukes with my grandparents, who loved the country music, are still very fresh in my mind.
Again thank you, James (Roscoe P. Coltrane) Best!
God Bless!

Dear Jimmie,
I wanted to point out that it is unusual for a single female to own a General. The usual scenario I see when I go to car shows is the male enjoying his car along side his wife or all by himself. I don't see the non-married female out there cruising around. With that in mind, I feel like I am in a car-world all by myself.
Here is a small story of how I got my car.
After a two year hunt, I found the perfect car for me. The perfect one for someone who does not know how to spackle or bondo. A friend picked up the car in Frankfort, KY, and did a wonderful job working on it, then another friend and I went to help/pick it up, but the weather turned on us and could not finish it. Finally after another few days, got the car to Kalamazoo with abso-tiv-ely, no problems!! It drives like a kitten and hopefully I can change that kitten to a tiger soon. When I went to my first Dukes show, I got to be known as the "Chick General Lee" by Billie Ray Bates an author, Byron Cherry, and some other Dukes fans.
Finally, I am still in touch with the 2nd owner (and him in touch with the 1st owner) and together we hope to complete an album of the car.

Thank you from Andrea!
Dear Sir,
I really hope this email finds you in great health, both in body and in spirit. My name is Aris Kambas, 32, a resident of Athens, Greece. I have been looking up info on the Dukes of Hazzard, a tv show I watched and liked when I was a kid (I liked the police cars wrecking a lot!), when I visited your web site. I was amazed on the info I found there, (as well as in Wikipedia) about yourself, and to my surprise of course, because I didnt know you were such a multi-talented person, that gave and still gives so much to art and acting. I really liked your acting in the Dukes, that character you played was so funny, he was with the bad guys of course, but with a good heart and most of the time well intended.
I will not take much more of your time sir, I wish you good health, my best wishes to you and your familly, and continue to be an example to young actors, and of course to do what-ever that pleases you doing.
Best regards
Aris Kambas, Greece
Dear Mr. Best,
As a young boy the world of television was an enchanted universe a million miles away Bailey NC, where I grew up. Every once in a great while a character would come along and capture your imagination with a smile or a cry simply because he was more human than the world you dealt with on a daily basis. And as you grow older you continue to carry that character with you as an icon, or hero, or maybe just as a good friend. He becomes not only part of your past, but your future as well. To have someone of that magnitude, as you were then and remain today, wish to post a letter of appreciation on his website is truly an honor. Thank you.
I, too, have been very blessed in my adult years. 12 years ago, when I was 42, I was a washed up musician and well on my way to becoming a mean drunk. A special woman, who has now been my wife for the past 10 years, offered me a hand up, and as Robert Frost once said about the road less traveled,"and that has made all the difference." She afforded me the opportunity to go back to college full time, getting a BA in Religion/Philosophy/History and then to go on to graduate school and get my MA in English/Creative Writing and she continues to support me in my writing (I am currently finishing up a book of collective short stories and about half way through my first novel). I lead a good life.
I would like to send you a couple of chapters from "Pasture Logic," my first novel, for no reason other than one fortunate human being sharing with another. It's my way of saying thank you, and offering a small piece of my heart, to someone who has shared so much of his God given talent with millions of viewers, like me.
God's speed and the best of luck to you and your wife on your production/film company; I still live in NC and am proud that you chose our state as part of your dream. This weary old world could sure use some good entertainment especially from a man who stood as a giant during the "Best Season of TV."
Take care.
